Everybody has a swimsuit body!

Image
Hello you lovely lot, One of my favourite quotes of all time is: Every Body has a Swimsuit body. A few weeks ago I was talking to someone I know and they asked me how I felt so comfortable with my swimsuit body. I answered with the quote, which caused a weird reaction. “Then why work on your body, if every body has a swim suit body”. The thing is I choose to eat healthy at times, because it helps me. I’d workout because I want too. I don’t do these things because I want to be “summer ready”. We are all summer ready. Always. And that IS A FACT!! That conversation has me thinking as to why do we always think like that about ourselves? Why are we so afraid of wearing a Swimsuit or a bikini, afraid of exposing our bodies to the world? Because lets ne honest were the same person with or without clothing and we’re beautiful no matter what. The biggest and hardest part is believing it though. I have learnt that self-confidence is something you need to always be working on. You sho

Hello my Lovelies,💓 Happy Easter! Hope you are all having a fabulous day and enjoying the sunshine. I realise that I have been super slack lately and I apologise for this, life has been super busy. But I am back so look out… Ha! Something that has really been grinding me down lately is how people see and talk about cellulite. Cellulite is natural and normal and the society that we live in needs to learn to be more accepting of it. I always used to take lots of pictures of myself and then look at them and be angry/ upset of how I looked and then not post them because of things like my cellulite- it was always on my mind by why should it be? I have now realised that I am so much more than cellulite, I am so much more than my back fat or my belly rolls. It is 100% natural and normal for everyone to have cellulite. It needs to stop being seen as ugly and stop being spoken about as if it is disgusting. I get that everyone wants smooth perfect skin but we al l need to accept

LQ Liquid Health

Hey Guys! I apologise for the fact that I have been so MIA here lately… but the good news is I am back and I have some serious catching up to do. Recently the guys at LQ Liquid health reached out to me to see if I would be interested in trialling their product- which I agreed to do. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you may recall me uploading daily videos of myself taking it. The packaging is good, and the formula itself comes in little test tube bottles, which is convenient if you are always on the go.   So firstly let me give you some product information: I received 10 daily 50ml bottles, which have been scientifically formulated to support healthy skin, hair and nails. It contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, biotin & resveratrol + 5 other active ingredients (more active ingredients than 10-12 pills). LQ’s high bioavailability means it’s easier to absorb and they say there is a greater benefit from each dose compared with other supplement brands.

The curse of internet trolls!

[Trigger warning: contains hateful and Fat-Phobia comments] Hello Guys, So as I lay here in bed feeling completely sorry for myself full up with cold, I thought I would spend some time writing a post about something that is clearly aggravating me a little today - internet trolls! But without them, lets face it, the internet just wouldn't be the internet. The general advice is to ignore them, and to continue doing what you're doing. Content creators are told to get a thick skin & to not let the negativity hit home. That particular logic even has its own unofficial slogan: "haters gonna hate" - one of my favourite's. But lets face it, you're never going to be able to please everyone, so don't let peoples hate/opposition get in your way - just be you. So firstly, let me tell you why I started my blog. I started my blog as I was starting a self-love journey...a journey that I wanted to share with the world. I'm plus size, I love fashi

My Response to Fat Shaming

Image
He y Guys,  I have to be honest, I hate fat shaming! As a plus-sized woman, I am definitely familiar with fat shaming. Sometimes it’s intentional, sometimes it isn’t. Sometimes it is out there, sometimes, it comes with a side of concern or laugher. Either way, there’s no doubt that fat shaming happens everywhere - at home, at college, in school and at your workplace. Maybe not everyone you meet as an adult bullies you like in school, but on the other hand, people seem to think they know how you could get in shape, and that they have every right to tell you so, all the time. You’ve probably had one too many well-meaning family members or friends who seem to know “just what diet you should follow”, or that one person who tells you how much prettier an outfit might look on you “only if you were a little thinner”, or the most common of them all - that you have such a pretty face, only if you were to lose some of that weight. You’re being fat-shamed, and there’s no
